I am thinking of flying to Mexico city buying a BYD Han electric car and driving it back into the U.S.
My point in doing this would be to wake up Americans what is coming at us from China.
Everything I read tells me that Chinese have targeted the autoindustry are ahead of us in technology and of course have much lower labor costs. They also have huge state support.
If we don’t get smart real quick they will ultimately crush our auto industry.
I recall as a young teen when the first japanese car showed up in our neighborhood and me and my buds walked around this Datsun criticizing it. So very little did we know as young dummies.
Jim Farley of Ford is well aware what is headed our way. He is very scared as should be all the American autoworkers and our politicians.
